What we collect, and what we don’t.

Plain English. The same standard we hold ourselves to with insurance.

  13. 13How to reach us

Davis Legacy Life (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independent insurance brokerage. We respect the trust that comes with sharing personal information, and we keep that information to the minimum we actually need to help you. This notice explains what we collect on this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Davis Legacy Life is operated by Jesse J. Davis, an independent insurance agent licensed across the United States. Our mailing address is PO Box 894, Statham, GA 30666. You can reach us at info@davislegacylife.com or (855) 750-0525.

2. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and limited information your browser sends when you visit the site.

Information you provide

  • Contact-form submissions. When you fill out a form on this site we receive your name, email, optional phone number, and the contents of your message. Sending the form delivers an email to info@davislegacylife.com.
  • Quote & enrollment information. If you choose to move forward with a quote or enrollment, we collect the additional information required by the carrier — for example, date of birth, household, health and prescription history, and beneficiary details. We only collect what the application requires.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records aggregated information about your visit — pages viewed, time on page, country/region, device type, and referrer. We do not enable Google advertising signals, cross-site tracking, or audience-building.
  • Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure (Amazon Web Services) keeps short-term logs of requests, including IP address, user-agent, and the timestamp of each request. These logs are used to detect abuse and diagnose problems, and are deleted on a rolling basis.
  • Bot protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify you are a real person. Turnstile may briefly process limited browser and network signals to make that determination. We never see your full Turnstile interaction — only whether it succeeded or failed.

3. How we use it

We use the information you share to:

  • Reply to your inquiry and prepare for the conversation you asked for.
  • Compare carriers, prepare quotes, and complete applications on your behalf.
  • Review your coverage annually and notify you of meaningful changes.
  • Operate, secure, and improve this website.
  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations as a licensed brokerage.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles. We do not share your information with carriers, third parties, or any other agent without your explicit decision to move forward.

4. Cookies & analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies. We treat advertising and personalisation cookies as “off” by default; only the cookies required to make the site work are set without your consent.

  • Strictly necessary. Used to remember your cookie preference and to keep Cloudflare Turnstile working on the contact form. Cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Enabled only after you accept the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to ensure no tracking happens before you choose. Data is retained by Google for fourteen months and is accessible only to authorised users of our brokerage.

You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser, which will resurface the cookie banner on your next visit.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only in the following circumstances:

  • With insurance carriers you choose to apply to. When you ask us to place coverage, we forward the application details to the carrier you select. Carriers handle that information under their own privacy notices.
  • With service providers that help us operate. Hosting (Amazon Web Services), email delivery (Amazon SES), site analytics (Google Analytics), and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Each provider is contractually limited to processing the data on our behalf.
  • When required by law. A valid subpoena, court order, regulatory request, or other legal obligation may require us to disclose information.
  • To protect the site. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues.

We do not share with marketers, data brokers, or partner agents. We do not enable cross-context behavioural advertising.

6. How long we keep it

  • Contact-form submissions: kept in our email inbox indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. We may keep correspondence longer where state insurance recordkeeping rules apply (typically five to seven years).
  • Quote & policy records: kept for the period required by applicable insurance regulations, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Server logs: rolled off automatically within thirty days.
  • Analytics data: retained by Google Analytics for fourteen months, then automatically aggregated.

7. Your rights & choices

Regardless of where you live, you can email info@davislegacylife.com to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete information we no longer need.
  • Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (clearing cookies works too).
  • Opt out of any future marketing email we send you.

We aim to respond within thirty days. We do not charge for these requests and do not retaliate against you for making them.

8. State-specific disclosures

Several states have enacted privacy laws that give residents additional rights. The summary below describes those rights as they apply to this site. If your state passes a similar law and is not listed here, we will honour the equivalent rights on request.

California (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to know, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. To exercise any right above, email info@davislegacylife.com.

Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA)

Residents of these states have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, “sale,” and certain profiling. We do not engage in any of those activities. Send requests to the email above.

Authorised agents

You may use an authorised agent to make a request on your behalf. We may need reasonable proof of authorisation before acting on the request.

9. Children’s privacy

This site is not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We protect your information with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards: encrypted transport (TLS), encrypted storage, access limited to people who need it, multi-factor authentication on administrative accounts, and routine review of our service-provider posture. No method of transmission over the internet is one hundred per cent secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Third-party links

Some pages link to carrier websites, regulatory resources, or other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — please read their notices when you arrive.

12. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our practices change. We will revise the “last updated” date at the top, and for material changes we will notify you by email if we have one on file. Continued use of the site after a change indicates your acceptance of the updated notice.
